As you know, the BOld team was certified by the EU as BlueInvest Readiness Assistance coaches for the program’s startups. In January, we received our Cycle 1 assignments and we are happy to announce that, during Cycle 2, we will be coaching JALVASUB Engineering and La Bella Verde. Both startups are committed to environmental sustainability.
JALVASUB Engineering is a company that develops, manufactures and commercializes products such as energy systems: mainly PEM (Polymer Electrolyte Membrane) H2 fuel cells with low Platinum content and high efficiency, and propulsion and/or electric power generators based on these.
La Bella Verde was founded in the Balearic Island of Ibiza in 2014 chartering solar-powered catamarans. Now La Bella Verde is expanding its fleet internationally through franchises as well as launching world’s first fully recyclable composite boat! With their eco boats, they are pioneers of the green boating movement.
There are nine BlueInvest Readiness Assistance Cycles, and we hope to coach many more startups from the Western Mediterranean (Spain, Italy and Cyprus). Cycle 3 selection results will be announced in June (the applications deadline is May 1st), and we expect to report on the progress of the project.
